Building a Soccer & Community Hub in Clarkston
TRF-ATL — Train. Refine. Flourish. — is a new indoor and outdoor soccer training and community facility rising in Clarkston, Georgia, minutes from Atlanta. It's designed to be far more than a place to train.
Train
Indoor training spaces, outdoor turf fields, pickup soccer, and leagues
Connect
Watch parties, cultural gatherings, community events, and local nonprofit partnerships
Flourish
Youth development, the TRF Foundation, and expanded access for refugee and underserved youth
Why This Matters Right Now
World Cup 2026
Clarkston Is Already a Soccer Community
Clarkston is one of the most diverse communities in the United States — home to families representing cultures where soccer isn't just a sport, it's part of daily life and identity.
With World Cup matches coming to Atlanta in 2026, TRF-ATL aims to create a local, welcoming alternative to downtown commercial events — a place that reflects the true spirit of Clarkston.
  • Families gathering to watch matches together
  • Pickup soccer before kickoff and at halftime
  • Culture and community honored
  • A local soccer destination that lasts long after 2026
World Cup Watch Parties & Community Events
Beginning during the 2026 World Cup, TRF-ATL will host a series of indoor and outdoor watch parties and soccer-centered community events — creating a neighborhood atmosphere that feels energetic, inclusive, and deeply local.
Match Viewing
Large indoor and outdoor screens with pickup soccer on the turf field
Local Vendors
Food trucks, local vendors, music nights, and supporter culture
Community Orgs
Cultural groups, nonprofits, and family-friendly gathering spaces
Volunteer Opportunities
Local residents, youth programs, and partner organizations involved in every event
A portion of event proceeds will support community access initiatives through the TRF Foundation and the City of Hope Soccer Team.

Public Art Initiative
Community Mural Project
TRF-ATL is developing a large-scale mural that will become a visual landmark for the property and the broader Clarkston community — a permanent, public-facing celebration of what makes this place extraordinary.
The mural will honor:
  • Soccer, diversity, and immigration stories
  • International cultures represented in Clarkston
  • Youth opportunity and the unifying power of sport
Local and regional artists will be invited to collaborate, with opportunities for community and youth participation during the installation process. Funding flows through the TRF Foundation.
Long-Term Community Vision
The World Cup and mural initiatives are just the beginning. TRF-ATL and the TRF Foundation are committed to building sustainable community partnerships that endure well beyond 2026.
Youth Soccer Access
Scholarship memberships, refugee and underserved youth participation, and safe spaces to play
Wellness & Education
Health initiatives, mentorship programs, and educational opportunities tied to the facility
Arts & Culture
Ongoing cultural programming, community events, and creative partnerships beyond the mural
Civic Collaboration
Working with local businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies to build shared community value

Let's Build Something Lasting
TRF-ATL is being built to serve as more than a soccer facility. We believe it can become a long-term community gathering space for Clarkston, Decatur, and greater DeKalb County — especially during a moment as meaningful and globally visible as the 2026 World Cup.
We are looking for aligned partners, organizations, and supporters who want to help create something lasting — for the community, by the community.
Whether your contribution is financial, in-kind, or collaborative, we would love the opportunity to continue this conversation with you.
